The Gift Wrap Station post is sponsored by The Container Store, but as always all opinions and images are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that allow Home with Keki to create unique content and keep going!
It’s not the biggest home on the block but it is the most loved. I have always shared how much I love my 100-year-old home, so much so I didn’t have it in me to upsize when we had the opportunity. Instead, I have found ways to make the small spaces work and that means using my newly updated laundry room as a gift wrap station too.
Gift Wrap Station
I knew the best place to shop for the perfect gift wrap cart would be The Container Store. Before I didn’t even have a before of what my gift wrap station looked like because I never had one. There was wrapping paper shoved in a corner of a closet. All my tissue paper and ribbons were in a broken plastic container on a shelf in my husbands’ office. Needless to say, I didn’t find joy in wrapping presents.
But, with the holidays just around the corner and all the birthday parties my kids attend I wanted to create something that would function in any space, but most importantly, hold everything! From the rolls of paper to the ribbons, scissors and gift bags.

How To Organize Your Gift Wrap Cart
The gift wrap cart is super easy to put together. It comes with five white mesh drawers and a few extra Elfa accessories to make it a truly unique gift wrap cart.
- Elfa’s Hangmate Accessory Basket & Gift Wrap Organizer are quick and easy baskets to hang off the side of the cart.
- Clear Drawer Dividers for a couple of drawers to keep the ribbons organized and in place.
- Drawer Dividers to be used in the larger shelves to keep the gift bags organized by size.
I placed all the ribbons and gift name tags on the top two drawers using the clear drawer dividers. In the third drawer I laid out all of my tissue paper, finally, it won’t get wrinkled. In the first big drawer, I placed small gifts I have already pre-purchased. You know, when you find a great deal on a candle or gifts for the teachers, I like to think ahead. I used the drawer divider to keep them organized. Then finally, in the last drawer, I placed all the gift bags organized by size and a shelf divider for all the wine bottle gift bags. Easy and ready to grab.
