Kirkland’s Buy Online Pick Up In Store

With the holiday’s just around the corner, plus all the kids Fall activities, I am beginning to feel the stress. That is why I am at the point of finally appreciating online shopping. I know, I know, I am one of the last to jump on the bandwagon but, I had no idea I could shop home decor from Kirkland’s till recently. One of my go-to home decor shops has take it one step further. Kirkand’s Buy Online Pick Up In Store is now available!  A whole new world has opened up for me, I finally understand why so many depend on the ease and convenience of online shopping with store pickup.

Adding this shopping option to Kirkland’s website is a new online feature and I got to test it out. With over 200 of your favorite items I was able to select a few decor items I have been wanting to add to my home BUT didn’t have the time to get to the store and actually search, wait in line, pay etc. Wanna know why? Sadly, there isn’t a Kirkland’s close to my home so I have to drive 40 minutes every time I go. When I add in the time to actually shop, then a half day can disappear just like that. That is why this option was A MAZE ING.

Also, lets say I am in the middle of decorating for the holidays or simply updating a space a space in my home. I realize I need another item, or couple decor items to finish the space and you want it quickly. But, I am in the middle of a design install! Guess what I can do? Place the order online and send my husband! He just walks up to the counter, shows the email confirmation and walks out with what I wanted. While I stay home and continue decorating. Just saying that this scenario might or might not have happened.

Okay, so here is my biggest tip when buying online, learn from my mistake. I clicked “Pick Up Today,” for just the top item, the first item I had in my shopping cart. Assuming the click would go to all items. Nope, you need to click “Pick Up Today” for each item and select the same store location for each items before checking out or while in your shopping cart. That’s it! Easy.
