Okay, so the Master Bedroom remodel series is finally coming to a close. We have painted the walls, added new bedroom light fixtures, and I installed new window treatments by Graber. When I am re-styling clients rooms, art and accessories are left to the end, so naturally, the same process happened here it just took me longer. Now, I wanted to create a Master Bedroom Gallery Walls with photos or art that inspired me and brought me joy.
So here are the after shots of each space. For each of our little babies we did their “body” shots when they were 6 months old. For some reason, I just can’t envision these in our living room. Not to say that their tushes aren’t adorable, but I am pretty sure all our guests don’t want to see someone kid’s butt while they eat a mini quiche.
So I decided to place all 3 (LARGE) framed baby body part picture above our bed.
Truly I love how it made this large wall feel cozier and finished.
Also, every night the kids unwind in our bed before heading to their rooms and at least a couple times a week I catch them checking out the photos, asking “whose who,” and realizing how fast they have grown.
Next, we had the wall above the dresser. I debated on buying a new dresser or finding one on craiglist to refinish, but I haven’t found one that I like. In the mean time I am keeping this one and will have it painted once the weather gets nice.
Anyhoo, above the dresser I decided to create a gallery wall of all my baby bump photos.
I use to have these on the staircase gallery but decided to make a personal and happy space in my room of all these shots. I LOVED being pregnant. I always felt pretty pregnant, I didn’t feel “fat” or unhappy. Of course the last couple weeks of pregnancy were miserable and I complained, BUT for the majority of my pregnancy I loved how I felt.
I created this gallery wall to not just remind me how “massive” my belly was but it truly brings me joy to remember how I felt pregnant. To see how we have grown as a family, literally, is just astonishing to me.

Okay, so the room is full of our body parts and family photos I needed to add some art or simply something different. When, Pratima, from Craft Street Design, contacted me, I knew it was meant to be. I was looking for a meaningful / inspirational quote to put in our kitchen. Basically, to remind my boys to be positive every day, cause how many times do I have to hear them say, “this is the worst day EEEEVVVVEER!”
But, when the poster arrived I was like, wait, what about me? I would like to have a create and positive meditative space in my room. Something that I would see every morning when I woke up to remind me, “it is going to be okay,” “you can do this.” I took Craft Street Design’s poster and glammed it up with a vintage gold frame, then placed it on the wall I see every morning when I jump gleefully out of bed.
I just love it! Pratima of Craft Street Designs has 100’s of meaningful quotes designed into stylish wall art, a must website to visit.
Okay, you can’t have a bedroom without a mirror. I already have a dressing mirror in my closet so I just wanted a piece that would add depth and texture. I already had a reclaimed wood sunburst mirror that I had painted white and was waiting for the right spot. Turns out that was in my bedroom.

I love your blog! So question for you…what do you do with all of the things you replace (bedding, lamps, window coverings, furniture, etc)? I want to update some of the look in my house, but have guilt about replacing perfectly fine pieces 🙂

Tracy! thank you for stopping by 🙂 Totally understand and know where you are coming from. What city are you in??? I am just North of Chicago and we have some amazing Facebook Page Garage Sale Sites. So I sell everything online. I do have a rule, if I bring something new in, something must go (basically cause I cannot stand clutter). SO I do sell a lot online. I have had better luck with local "Virtual Garage Sale Sites" They are a lifesaver. If you are in Chicago I can invite you to the page, otherwise, maybe you city has one.
