Okay, so the Master Bedroom makeover is still happening! Man, if only I had all my kids in school full time and didn’t work (a job I love doing so I guess I can’t complain there) BUT I have trouble finishing this master bedroom makeover.
I am happy to report that the big purchases are officially done, the walls have been painted, theĀ master bedroom light fixtures are installed, and now the window treatments.
Well, I knew I wanted white roman shades, with some texture but I wasn’t going to pay thousands for it. That is when I decided to design my own at zebrablinds and install them me-self. The process was super easy and I couldn’t be happier. Which is what I CANNOT say for the Costco Graber Blinds I had installed in my kids rooms, but more about that next time.
Master Bedroom Window Treatments By Graber
Okay, so check out how easy this process was and install even easier.
I had used zebrablinds for a client last year and they were happy with the results. They carry all styles by Graber for literally HALF the cost.
Here is what you need to know.
1. Decide what kind of window treatment you want. Blinds, shutters, drapery or shades.
2. Take accurate measurements of your windows. Now, zebrablinds.com does give you a tutorial for your window type so you know exactly where you need to measure for the type of window treatment you want.
I knew I wanted roman shades, so I needed to measure inside my window frames.
2. The website has EVERY type of window treatment you could want but, I knew I wanted the Artisan Graber Roman Shades in White. Graber is leading the home industry in window treatments, competing with Hunter Douglas. One reason I opted away from Hunter Douglas (our master bedroom blinds use to be Hunter Douglas) was because of their increasing cost in repairs. Graber has a longer and better warranty.
3. Order samples. I picked a few fabric samples and when they arrived I was pleased with my options. I narrowed it down to Flair Glacier
4. Now, back on the site, I followed the step by step purchase guide. It gives you every option for cordless, cords and which side, top down bottom up, black out, and more. You can completely customize it!
5. Install. They arrived faster than expected for made-to-order (“custom”) window treatments. I loved it from the moment they came out of the box. I followed the instructions and used my new power drill my hubs got me for the holidays. I was able to install all 3 in less than 20 minutes!
So happy with the Top/Down Bottom/Up option to. This way I can let in the light but keep the privacy.
COST: Oh how can I forget, I had costco come out and quote me the EXACT same shades (literally the EXACT same thing) and they priced it at $1,820 for the 3 windows.
Using zebrablinds.com my grand total was $490.33. Don’t believe me, here is the screenshot of my invoice and that is for ALL 3!
FYI this post is NOT sponsored. zebrablinds and graber have no idea! I truly truly had a great experience with zebrablinds and Grabers Flair Glacier Roman Shades
