Recently I had the opportunity to come up with a design plan for a young family. They have a large long living space with original woods and 1920 built-in’s. With her grandmothers antique, large, gold leaf mirror as inspiration, I came out with 2 different design options. Hoping they would meet the husbands desire for a casual and comfortable space, and the wife’s plan for a more upscale coastal feel.
Design one has a more vintage glam but eclectic feel. With pops of brass and golds, but, toning it down a notch with gray side tables, some white metals, and seagrass.

Design option two is more versatile with woods and a darker color base, but keeping it still feminine, with brass side tables and pops of transitional pillows.
