Who doesn’t like a great summer shin-dig, and if you are up for hosting the most important date of the summer, Fourth of July, then hats off!
I love me a little Fourth of July gathering too. But I am not going to break the bank for pillows with white stars or other items I can only use once, maybe twice, a year. So I am sharing some of my own Fourth of July go-to party essentials you can use all summer long.
This summer’s go to items are the hanging patio lights. We purchased a large set at the end of last summer. I opted for the vintage Edison Style light bulbs and love them hanging over our fire pit area.
Also, if you are ever at a flea market, grab galvanized trays! You can fill them with mason jars to hold utensils, or you can use them to serve! I love these galvanized trays and/or caddy’s.
For my first apartment, back when I was 20 years old, I purchased silver and blue handle utensils (okay my mom did). I held on to them and I love how they look setting the table for a fourth of July or summer gathering outdoors.
Okay, so a white garden stool, a decor trend and must. I keep my stool indoors in our living room, but, bring it out for summer parties. It adds a fresh pop of white against all the green trees/grass and blue cushions.
Pillows. You can never have enough pillows, or as a friend says, “floornaments.” You know, cause they always end up on the floor.
