Last summer we had a storage area disaster and lost our bin of Easter decorations. I didn’t fret and let it all go, eventually, forgetting that it happened. UNTIL last week when I went searching for the darn bin and sadly remembered we no longer had it. I was not going spend a ton of cash buying up Easter decorations immediately. It takes a couples years to accumulate holiday decor and we were going to have to start off slow.
However, through the years we have collected a lot of was plastic Easter eggs from all the Easter Egg hunts. Those were kept in a large garbage bag filled to the rim. I stared at them, and with a quick search on Pinterest, found a way to make them useful and didn’t entail filling them with candy.
Each Easter egg has a hole on the top and bottom and I already had hot pink wire string from a previous project 12 years ago! Yes, 12 years ago when I was a teacher, I bought this wire string for a class project and held on to it knowing one day I would use it.

My oldest did most of it, but apparently, he didn’t think he looked cool/bad enough hanging Easter decor so he gave me his “bad-est” pose.

I adore this!! I always tell myself that I am going to buy stuff on sale after Easter, and every year, I forget. This is perfect, thanks for the inspiration!
