A couple weeks ago I wrote about updating my curb appeal with Front Door Paint Colors. I knew I wanted to stay in the teal or blue family. Colors I did not want were the traditional primary color front doors. But, did consider orange-yellow, however, my neighbor has a great yellow front door. It goes FANTASTIC with her blue cape cod style house. Also, yellow just isn’t really a reflection of my home style anyway. So I moved onto the blue family. I have a red brick home and the front entrance does not get a lot of natural light. So I knew I didn’t want a darker color as well. Even though I would have loved Royal Blue!!

So maybe these 2 colors look the same to you. But, they are actually different. haha. Subtle, but, there is a slight hue of baby blue to the one on the right.
Well, finally the front door reveal. I ended up going with Benjamin Moore’s St. Lucia Teal.

Gorgeous! The risk of doing something that goes against the usual really paid off. I'm loving the color of your front door and how it complements the whole look. We totally have to invent a new phrase for the fabulous look of your house front, like curb allure, which can be a step higher than appeal. Hahaha! All the best with your future projects!
