I have a client that bought a home. Tore it down to the studs and we are building it back up again. This was a staging client of mine who won my Staging Auction at the Annual Brain Cancer Benefit. She needed a home that would better accomodate her husband who has MS. She found this great property and is making it just perfect for her family to fit all their needs. Wide open door ways so he can get around inside, first floor bedroom, open concept kitchen etc. Her last home was very traditional french country fusion.
I want to bring her into the new colors and styles and she is up for it. This first picture shows the color options for the upstairs bedrooms and hallway. Now we are working on the downstairs colors for the dining room. Last 2 pictures are for my eyes as I brainstorm. I spend time pulling color ideas from my Paint Fan Deck. Then I find how they look in spaces and try to attach them to real-life pictures taken from the actual space. I do all this BEFORE I even present to my clients the color options. Basically it is me, narrowing it down from my top 100 to top 10 to top 2 colors that I take to them. Overbearing OCD, yes I am!
In this first set of options: the final decisions were Baja Dunes by Benjamin Moore for the Dining Room. Metropolitan by Benjamin Moore for the daughters room. Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore for the hallway. Gray’s Lake by Benjamin Moore for the son’s room.

Greige Paint Colors
These are my idea boards for the dining room. I will know take my options and present her my final two choices. I think I am bringing it down to Vale Mist by Benjamin Moore.
These are the color options to present for the husbands room. They want to keep the wainscot it’s oak color. I could not convince them to paint it. So I wanted lighter colors on top. The space is not large and I didn’t want it to feel smaller than it already is. Color options are Constellation, White ice and Horizon all by Benjamin Moore
